The Make a Sound Project was born out of desperation. We believe that one touch, one glance, one sound can make a difference in the life of someone who feels that they mean nothing in this world. We have witnessed firsthand the look of desperation in youth who have lost all hope due to feeling they cannot live up to the expectations placed on them by their parents. We have seen youth who cannot stand their life due to being bullied at school. We have heard the sound of hearts shattering due to them feeling as if they are unlovable. We have felt the pain and loneliness of youth who want so desperately to be seen yet they are too wrapped up in drugs due to feeling they are nothing but a bother to their families.

At Make a Sound we feel that music can impact lives in such a positive way that it can reach out to the desperate and help them to realize that they do matter in this life. We believe that the right sound, lyric or rhythm in a song can make such an impact that it restores ones feeling that they can go on, that they are worth more than the drugs, alcohol, or depression that they are facing in their lives.

Make a Sound is dedicated to fueling hope throughout the world. We are dedicated to reaching people in need through those who are making an impact in their communities. We want to see bands that are making a difference in lives be able to stay out on the road on tour. We want to see music venues that care more about the message of hope and less about the profit to be made keep their doors open. We want to see schools develop a music program to show students who have never had the chance how you can save a heart with the right melody and message. We want to see music majors get scholarships to write the next lyrics that bring beauty from ashes.
